Carlyle Parking Map Updated Using The New App From ParkMe
The Carlyle area of Alexandria, VA is easily accessible by mass transit, bicycling, walking, and by car.
Carlyle connects pretty easily to every major highway and interstate in the area and getting to Carlyle is easy and parking is too. Carlyle contains a number of parking locations throughout the area making it convenient to find parking close to your destination in Carlyle.

Alexandria Transit Company (DASH Bus) – Notice of Public Hearing
Some of these changes affect Carlyle so pay attention below.
The Board of Directors of the Alexandria Transit Company (ATC) will hold a public hearing in the Sister Cities Conference Room 1101, City Hall, Alexandria, Virginia, on March 28, 2013, at 5:30 p.m.
The following proposed fare and service changes have been identified in response to a potential fiscal year 2014 City budget shortfall that could affect DASH local transit subsidies. The Alexandria City Council adoption of the fiscal year 2014 budget on May 6, could impact the level of fare and service changes anticipated to take effect July 2013:

Metro is undertaking a comprehensive rebuilding effort of its system to reverse years of deferred maintenance. Simultaneously, the system must prepare to meet the projected ridership demand and growth while keeping the region competitive.
A short survey, which should take five to seven minutes to complete, will help ensure that Metro’s plans are responsive to the region’s business needs.

City of Alexandria Under Winter Weather Advisory – March 25, 2013
The City of Alexandria is under a Winter Weather Advisory until noon today. City crews have been working throughout the morning in response to this morning’s snowfall and are treating primary roads and some secondary routes; however, untreated surfaces, particularly in neighborhoods, may be dangerous. Residents are advised to use caution while driving today.
